"First, Do No Harm" Patient Safety Training Series
This Thursday, March 30, the UW Chapter of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Open School will be hosting the first of the three-part patient safety training program. The “First, Do No Harm” training videos are a three-part series developed by the Partnership for Patient Safety (P4PS) to assist healthcare delivery organizations and schools implement a patient-centered, system-based approach to reducing preventable patient harm. Julie Duncan, Director of the UWMC Center for Clinical Excellence, will facilitate the discussion during the Part 1 screening. All health sciences students, faculty and anyone at the UW who is interested in health care or working with health care organizations or providers is invited.

Part 2: April 20, 2017, 5:00–6:30 pm, (location TBD)
Part 3: May 18, 2017, 5:00–6:30 pm, (location TBD)
