Interprofessional Panel Discussion About the Opioid Crisis

Join UW’s Neurobiology Club for the Spring Quarter edition of Neuroscience for Everyone. On May 24, 2018, they are welcoming  UW professors Charles Chavkin, PhD (Department of Pharmacology, Allan & Phyllis Chair of Pain Research, and Director of the Center for Drug Addiction Research) and Andrew Saxon, MD (Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, Director of the Center of Excellence in Substance Abuse Treatment & Education, and Director of Addiction Psychiatry Residency Program) to participate in an interprofessional panel discussion surrounding addiction and the opioid crisis. The audience will ask questions and the panel will discuss the topics presented.
