Emily Rivers

Social Work Practicum Student

Emily Rivers (she/her) is a second-year Master of Social Work student at the University of Washington, where she is specializing in Community-Centered Integrative Practice. Prior to attending UW, she worked as a program coordinator, community advocate, and case manager with local nonprofits and the King County Children’s Crisis Outreach Response System. Emily is dedicated to promoting health equity through community collaboration and coalition-building. As a CHSIE intern, she is excited to continue learning about interdisciplinary methods of improving health outcomes and reducing systemic barriers for individuals and communities.
